Buckland Fire & Rescue has evolved from the first truck in 1969 to today's range of equipment to handle emergency situations of all types ranging from structure, vehicle, vegetation and forest fires to motor vehicle collisions and extrication.

Any person who starts a fire is responsible for all suppression costs and possible liability from damage caused by the fire. If you do decide to burn, choose to do so under conditions that minimize health and safety risks. If an emergency happens in your community, it may take emergency workers some time to reach you. You should be prepared to take care of yourself and your family for a minimum of 72 hours.
