Controlled Burning

Buckland Fire and Rescue’s controlled burn process begins with a call to the dispatch center at:

306-922-FIRE (3473)

Stating:

  • Your name
  • Land Location
  • What your burning
  • Intended time of burn

Note: The individual who starts a fire is responsible for all suppression costs and possible liability from damage caused by the fire. If you do decide to burn, choose to do so under conditions that minimize health and safety risks.
